Does anyone know if records are available for the service of Catholic Priests in Ireland? ie where they trained, served etc.

You should find records in Maynooth seminary if they trained for the parish clergy.  Otherwise, you would have to check with the relevant religious orders.  Am not sure though that those records would be open to just anyone.

Hi,

I have had great success corresponding with both All Hallows Seminary and St Patrick's Maynooth via E-mail.  I  believe I contacted the Alumni area.

www.maynoothcollege.ie

I don't know where you are located, but here in the US, I was able to look at a book (s) at the Archdiocese archives which listed where Irish Priests were posted.

I hope this helps!
