Slater's 1911 directory of Perthshire has listed a Robert Hay, cabinet maker, upholster and removal contactor, of 75 Kinnoull Street. Is this Robert a direct descendant of Robert Hay, wright and later cabinet maker, born Rhynd, who married Margaret Mackay in Perth in 1817?
