Thomas Worroll - Warrington 1841 1851
« on: Tuesday 14 December 04 11:12 GMT (UK) »
Warrington, father possibly Samuel.   Born Warrington c 1835.   He is described as a boiler maker at the time of his marriage, and on the birth certificate of his child Charles 1857 in Australia.   He married Ann Wallworth/Wallwork.   There is a little uncertainty re marriage as it is a little outside the dates given in Australia.   They said in Australia at the birth of their son on 16 Oct 1857 that they were married in 1856 in Manchester.   I could find a marriage of Thomas Worroll and Ann Wallwork in Manchester but on 15 May 1857!    Is this at all likely?   Could they have gone to Australia in this time - would it have been to cover up events?   Ann also signed her maiden name on the birth certificate of their first child in Australia (mentioned above), which was crossed out and re-signed Ann Worroll, and gave her birth place as Bath, Somerset - something else which just doesn't tally!   This line is stuck here so I think any further information is going to come from the census returns for these 2 years. :)   Thank you in anticipation
