School occupation information Ripon area

Can someone please tell me where i can find out more details of someone who worked as a school teacher in the Leyburn/Ripon area in the late 1790's? I am trying to find out which school he worked at ect.
SUSSEX - Linscer, Lincer, Linser
EAST LONDON - Watts, Sale, Steel
STRATFORD UPON AVON - Sale
WESTMINSTER & WANDSWORTH- Powell, Bevis
WARE, HERTFORDSHIRE - Adams, Bangs, Petts

It's a shame this hasn't been answered .. could you provide a few more details please and someone might be able to help.

The area from Leyburn to Ripon is quite a large one .. ?  :-\
