cant find WELLHAM pre 1941 what do I do?

I have a marriage cert of my father in laws parents 12 April 1941 at St Lukes Parish of manningham, bradford
George briggs aged 33 bachelor joiner (address is unclear but looks like 85 Attiol road) and Ivy Wellham aged 21 spinser weaver at 24 Herbert St, Saltaire.
I have found Ivys mums name on her birth records as COCKCROFT but can not fine a marriage for her and her father George WELLHAM.  I am also struggling to find a birth for george Wellham so seem no stuck so early on - can someone please advise

The only birth I could find for Wellham was in W Derby as its an unusual spelling and wasnt sure if that was him - that makes it more to be him with the marriage - thanks so  much
