Sorry, can't find the baptism that you're looking for.
However, the IGI lists the baptism of Charles Poor on 8th March 1831, the son of John Poor and Sarah Smith, at the Northbrook Street Wesleyan chapel.
There are a number of Poors listed on the batch for the Lower Meeting House in Newbury, (the batch is dated 1695 - 1771 so a bit early,  but you never know, could have some relatives in it!)
Also a number of Poors in the batch for Chieveley which is close to Newbury.
Of course, you may have found these already!

Hi Debbi

I think the largest Newbury parish of the time [St Nicolas] is only represented in the IGI by LDS member submissions.  Hopefully SKS living locally, possibly with Devon interests, might be prepared to search the PRs for you on a reciprocal basis?

Hi Debbi

I think the largest Newbury parish of the time [St Nicolas]

The only Newbury parish of the time - though there were plenty of nonconformist chapels/churches.

But don't neglect Speen and Greenham PRs - parts of the town of Newbury were in these parishes.
