Hello

Can some kind person do a marriage look up for me.
I am looking around the 1920s or 1930s for a marriage for either
Nellie Eleanor Baker or Ruby Sarah Baker

Hi Annie,

Most marriages around then just show middle names as initials and there are lots of Bakers.  Can you narrow it down by giving the husband's names and the area where they may have married?

They probably married in the Christchurch area but I have not idea who the spouses are.

Hi Annie,

If you have a look on www.freebmd.org.uk and enter Baker, Ruby and dates 1915-1930 you'll see what I mean.  No Ruby Sarahs but several Rubys.  Do the same for Nellie and there's much more choice.

You can look for later marriages on www.ancestry.co.uk

Where have you got their names from, when did they go to N.Z?  Any children?

As I said, spoilt for choice, not much help really unless you can find out a bit more about them both

Have you found either of them in 1901 census?
