Florence HUDSON nee ?? completed

Hi folks
this is for help discovering a bit more about an old neighbour - because I have just inherited, via my father , a table that I have just learnt today was a wedding present to her and her husband.
Her married name was Florence Hudson  - mum can't remember her husbands first name at the moment - they lived at Bridge House, Sutton, nr Woodbridge. we had the cottage across the stream and it was Bridge Cottage, Shottisham. It was our holiday home.
Mrs Hudson was elderly when we went there the first time - about 1959 and her husband was still living then.
Mum says Mrs Hudson died aged 86 in approx 1964.
Mr and Mrs Hudson are buried in Shottisham Churchyard, round behind the church.
I was told the table was of the Regency period. Mrs Hudson told mum they had never used it.
It fell into my fathers possession and he abused it and I've had to have it french polished - and now it is as good as new!
Any help about Mr and Mrs Hudson would be super - I remember them both - but I was young teens when they died.

if Florence died approx age 86 in 1964 (i couldn't see a death matching this in all qtrs 1964) this would make her born circa 1878.

i checked (on FreeBMd) for a marriage between Hudson & Florence 1890-1920 in Suffolk(we are not sure they married in Suffolk are we & i do not know the geography of Suffolk)

there are these:~

Frederick Hudson & on same page Florence Ellen Moore (also Margaret Cameron Cooke) Q4 1893 Hartismere 4a 1385

Ernest Hudson & only one other name on same page Florence Hannah Flowerdew Q3 1894 Depwade 4b 429

Edward Hudson & again only one other name, Florence Jeanetta Human Q4 1898 Thetford 4b 1101

George William Hudson & again only the one name, Florence Marrion Brabin Q2 1900 Woodbridge 4a 1823

Augustus George Hudson, two names to choose from this time Florence Emma Strangward & Harriet Eliza Woolston Q3 1906 Mutford 4a 2157

Alfred E Hudson Q3 1918 to Florence J Smith Blything 4a 2535

if you could find the husbands name or Florences middle inital we can narrow it down.

also the death there were Florence Hudsons deaths regsitered in 1864 but none it seems in Suffolk.

Got them!
Geo Wm Hudson and Florence Marion Brabbing or Brabin.
he born q3 1874, she born q3 1877.
his parents Isaac and Elizabeth  nee Miles, her father James Miles.
All from SHottisham nr Woodbridge Suffolk.
Just where they should be!
another call to mum and confirms some of this.

Why not send a letter to the East Anglian Daily Times - the Suffolk daily newspaper.

Your research is relatively recent and there may still be people in the area who knew or may be related to Florence, and they may be able to help further - don't say too much about the table to begin with or they may want it back     

The Anglian loves stories where long lost friends/rellies are reunited - might be worth giving it a go.

Just found a post you added a few years ago re Florence Hudson from Shottisham.  One poster has mentioned the name Geo Wm Hudson......interestingly enough I have found a relation from 1881 sensus living in Shottisham with a very similar name but this one is Wm Geo Hudson.......a conection maybe?
