Glingerbecrows location
« on: Wednesday 15 August 07 19:06 BST (UK) »
Hello All,
I'm trying to find the location of Glingerbecrows, Scotland. The chap I'm interested in died in Canonbie, so I'm hoping it's in Dumfriesshire.
Cheers,
Bob

Hello Bob,
I would guess that you are misreading Glinzierbeckknowe which was a farmstead in the hamlet of Glenzier.  It is now known by the name of Evertown Farm and is within the parish of Canonbie, on the road between Canonbie and Kirkpatrick Fleming.
I hope that this information helps.
