Swansea History Web is an excellent local history website. It is very informative with many photographs. There is a annual subscription to view all that is available online, but if you have Swansea relatives it is definately worthy of a visit.

Hello and g'day from Oz, Welsh Jen..Just thought it a good idea to mention that the site you refered to here  Icould'nt getinto the site- past the first  pic.,hmmn ! ???maybe I will try again sometime. Jen, I would really luv to know if anyone out there around old Swansea town[now newer of course] smiles.. well if you know of Anyone who has the sparetime to drop me a line re; My family history, the ones that I am researching now are all of them who lived [on/and around Kilvey hill area. So hopefully anyone who is interested in some of the older generation and buildings/land etc.. in this area,.perhaps they could help me and 'possibly' themselves, by  taking up the offer of getting in touch[I can forweard e mail on privately later]- to anyone who is truly interested in the Kilvey Hill, project of mine...hopefully it was ok, to barge in here Jen.!  best wishes from Diane originaly born n bred in Swansea .
