Theres 38 districts in Charles Ward !

Is there a name we could try first ?

Otherwise you can do address searches on the Nat Archives 1901 site - but on 3 or 4 pages of Tavistock Place, #1 isnt listed .....

thank you for your help,
i was hoping to find a family called  roberts at the address,
as i know samuel roberts lived there just befor  1916,
but i surpose in 1901 they could have lived els where,
the trouble is i have no idea when samuel was born,
and no other information on him

Could this be your man -

Samuel J Roberts age 30 Born Plymouth.

Living with his cousin at 17 Oakfield Terrace, Plymouth. He is listed as a Butchers Labourer.
Wilson in the Lancaster area
Clegg in Todmorden
Adamson in Edinburgh
Miller in Edinburgh
Nunn in Norfolk and Co Durham
Smith in Glasgow
Haig in Peebles/Edinburgh
Also Nelson, Gardener, Garnett, Blair, Coleman, Aaronson and many more as the branches expand!

Also in the house is 2 year old Alice J Roberts as daughter - she is listed at top of the page and Samuel is below her so I presume she is not Sam's daughter.

I have looked at the previous page but it appears there is a page missing on Ancestry as the address and property numbers have a big gap! VERY FRUSTRATING!! >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

The census page with Sam on is RG13/2091 Pg 36 (pg 35 is missing and reported)

You could look this up on the 1901 site and see if they have page 33.
