Well, it looks like the 1881 census was them after all, so there are more children than you thought!! :P

Did the link to 1881 that I posted work for you, or do you need a transcription?  :)

Could I have a transcription please. Looks like I am defo related (BABYMAKER)! They had enough children after all! Will try and purchase the certificates soon.

Will post 1881 in a mo. In the meantime, here's 1871 (it seems their daughter called Jane on the 1881 was in fact Maria Jane)

Anyway I was actually posting to say two things
1) I've had no luck finding the marriage of John Claridge to a MAria on the free sites

2) just to note that there must be at least one other family producing Claridge children in Farnham reg area at this sort of time. I found a William George born JFM 1874, died AMJ 1875, amd also a Willaim Henry born and died JAS 1870, and wonderd inf they too were John and Maria's. But the 1870 one is too close to the Maria JAne, dtr of our couple.  The Wm Heny could be either couple's.
