I have somebody in the census (1861, 1871, 1881 and 1891) who says she was born in Bright Waltham, Berks.
I have Googled and looked at Genuki and I am still still none the wiser as to where this place was in Berkshire. Can anybody help?

should be Brightwalton cos I have ancestors from here and next village Chaddleworth, the two villages often come up as Bright Waltham & Chaddlesworth, annoying when you come from them

White Waltham on the outskirts of Maidenhead ?
There is a small but well used air field there - it borders an area of Maidenhead called Cox Green and spreads out toward Twyford.
Just a thought

I did wonder about that too. I will have to some more ancestor searching and see where they say they were born.

Bright Waltham or Brightwaltham is an alternative name for Brightwalton - nothing to do with White Waltham.
