I am trying to find the baptism of Hannah Epes, about 1581 in Old Romney. Fathers name WILLIAM EPES  mothers Name ANNE. Can anyone help please. I am not familiar with the area so would appreciate assistance.

Hi Kesannah
I looked on IGI and found the following which may be of use.
Hanna Epes baptised 05/08/1585 only says KENT no parish
parents William Epes and Anne Weston
Marriage to Richard Russell Jul 1605
Hanna died 1620
Richard died 1636

William and Anne also had another child William epes 30/6//1594

That is all the information they list for the family. As I said no parish is given but the names fit.

Panda, Many thanks for that information.  I had looked on IGI but nothing came up.

The other child for William and Anne was from his second marriage to Ann Berry. No chance of making a mistake when calling his 2nd wife  ;D
