Hi I found this on the IGI family search she was the only child I could find ,If I have time later Iwill have another look

certain this is 1851 census dock street monkwearmouth st peters parish

elizabeth brown age 42 wife
robert brown age 75 widow
elizabeth pinkney age 62 mother in law
class ho107 piece 2398 folio 314 page 69
Iam sure this is the family because Elizabeth Pinkney there daughter married Robert Brown 19th /10th/1828 bishopwearmouth.making elizabeth robert browns mother in law

That fits nicely. I also have Hannah Bell (nee Pinkney) at 36 Dock Street, Monkwearmouth with her 6 children.

The following children for Thomas Pinkney and Elizabeth Wright were found on the IGI.

John Moslin Pinkney, 21 Jun 1810, Sunderland
Mary Pinkney 03 Aug 1812, Sunderland
Maria Pinkney, 27 Jan 1819, Sunderland
Jane Pinkney, 21 May 1822, Scotch Presbyterian Chuch, Monkwearmouth

With Hannah and the Elizabeth that you found, that makes 6 children so far.

Hi again ,there is a death for thomas pinkney on the www.dmm.org.uk which could be yours .THOMAS PINKNEY 1835 19TH NOV 4PM KILLED IN THE 1835 EXPLOSION BURDON MAIN COLLIERY,It does not give his age ,but in the 1841 census I can only find Elizabeth Pinkney born about 1791 living in monkwearmouth with a elizabeth holmes age 6 months and maria holmes age 20 so I think Thomas may of died before 1841 unless anyone else can find him,plus on the dmm site there is loads of pinkneys if they were miners
there is also a death for an elizabeth pinkney 1859 sunderland ?
checked on ancestry maria pinkney married henry holmes 1840 sunderland so it is them in 1841

I have found a Elizabeth Wright born3/4/1785 father John Mother Margaret place  Byers Green parish Whitworth

Looks good but the 1851 census says that she was born in Monkwearmouth and Whitworth is very far away.

found her on the IGI Elizabeth Wright 22 sept 1784 monkwearmouth father Thomas Wright mother Elizabeth there was a few of them looks like there first child was george 1781

tried to find a marriage for thomas only one I could find was Thomas Wright married 15/12/1778 to Elizabeth Vasey but It was In Gainford ,unless you can find one In Monkwearmouth
