Me too.  I was looking at the 1891 census to see where one of my gran's brothers was and found he was living with a couple and their child and listed as a cousin!  At that point, I suddenly floated off onto that family instead.  I found the husband was living with another part of the family on the 1871 census and his wife has the same name as the eldest daughter, I assumed he had married her.  Turns out he can't have done, or she would have only been about 8 when their son was born.  Now, of course, I've sent for the son's birth certificate to see who her mother really is.  Meanwhile I have traced, fairly easily the husband's family.  Why?  He is of no consequence to my tree.

Oh well, makes a change from searching for the elusive g.grandfather!!
