I need the Cemetery closest to Newton please !!

I need help with this one please ! ................  :-\

One of my family died at Regent Street Newton in 1889 ..... at what cemetery/ church would she most likely be buried ?

( She was married at the Cathedral .... so I imagine C of E !! )

I think this might be the church .... ( looks like there's graves there too - to me .........  ::) )

They keep changing the name ..... Newton in Makerfield ..... Newton le Willows ...... and I have a feeling it's in Cheshire now  !!  :-\ :-\

Wargrave cemetery otherwise know as Newton le Willows cemetery is the one you want Annie
I have relatives buried there too
They proberbly knew yours
As they lived in Regent street around that time
In fact my Granddad was born there.

This is actualy Earlestown.
At that time it was know as Newton in Makerfield and was actualy coverd by Warrington
St Helens council has an onlie Grave finder which covers Newton cemetery Annie
I will see if I can find a link for you.

My family lived in a couple of houses on that street and Burtonwood Earlestown Chorlton upon Medlock Warrington ... you name it !!  :) :) :)

What was their surname as a matter of interest.
By the way
St Helens library holds the church records for Earlestown, so does Leigh Library for some reson or other.
