...but this genealogy thing is addictive!

Has anyone got any general hints and tips?  Ive managed to get a fair way back on my Fathers fathers side, but not very far at all on my Mothers side.  So far Ive basically been using google and trawling message boards for names and dates, but that is starting to frustrate me now...

Names eh?  You got it!

Bertram Benjamin Partridge of West Brom area, married to Nellie Blanche Stamford.  All I have on that.

Also Harry/Henry John Milman married Myra Kate Clinton in the Worcester area.

Both couples would be my maternal great grandparents, so Im guessing on DOBs to be around 1860-1880.

There is a bertram Partridge born West Brom in 1901 census but it's documented under Bertram Landy !!

Father Thomas R and Mother Lucy .
Bertram born 1887 living in Warley...think this is your family ?
