marriage look up HELP PLEASE

Please!!is anyone able to look up a marriage for me-
 John COOPER to Elizabeth Jones  1859 vol 6b  page 337
 Stoke-on-trent.I am after finding if the marriage states that she was previously married and if it states her maiden name at all.

I have been searching for Elizabeth Diggoryand John Cooper"s marriage however a turn of events have lead me to believe that Elizabeth was married to Aaron Jones in 1858, and was a widow very early .
This information would really a wonderful outcome!!

Hello Glenys,

I have looked on another site and found that a civil marriage took place in Stoke in December 1859 between Elizabeth and John. The reference is SRO/05/017 if you need to order a copy.

 Many Thanks for the reply,But I wonder if you happen to have seen the name of Elizabeths father when you found the civil marriage on that other site, as I dearly would like to be certain before I order the certificate .

unfortunately no other name was given. If you want to find it yourself have a look at ukbmd and search under the year.
