Suicide - 15 November 1875 - Oxford

A chap committed suicide (surname withheld by me)  15 November 1875 at the Clarendon Hotel in Oxford. His first names could be James William aged 29.

I would like to know if there was a report in the local newspaper (I have seen the Times one for 16th November) I am interested in if the report gives his place of birth and any other family names

Try looking the name up in the Oxfordshire Heritage Search on the Oxfordshire County Council website - it's very good!
