Does anyone have any info on Jemima Manson who married John Miller at Olrig in 1882

Hi Longberry

I presume you have their marriage cert from Scotland's people www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk? It will cost 6 units (£1.20).

This will give you the name of her parents and her age at marriage. There are a few Jemima'sshowing on the IGI but without a dofB, it's difficult to say if any of them are her.

Do you have any other information - children, etc. The various census information can also be checked, if you don't have access.

There is also an interesting family on the 1881 in Edinburgh. Maybe some connection:

I did have a look at the cert. It was very poor but I managed to see her parents' names   :)  You could contact SP (via their contact form)  and ask for a decent copy. They are very good.
