Post Office Workers-Essex 1910-Advice needed!

Hi,

I'm hoping that someone can help me,according to one of the birth certificates that I have, my ggrandfather was a postman in Hornchurch Essex in 1910,I would love to locate any records of his time there but I havn't got a clue where to start looking  :-\ and I'm hoping that some knowledgable soul out there will be able to advise me as to the best course of action,

I don't have any further info to hand - you might find something by searching the web.

Post Office appointments were sometimes listed in the London Gazette.
