Hi Dave,

Although born in William Street Anderston he grew up living at 291 Hope Street and went to Rockvilla School so I would have dearly have liked to have been at the meet this weekend even if it were just to walk down some of the streets that he used to talk about (Argyll, Vincent and Sauchiehall Street's just to name a few). I know that most of the minor streets that he trod as a youngster have all but disappeared under tarmac with road widening and "new build" etc but it would still have been nice to have said "I've been there and seen the area's if not the places" if that makes any sense.

In the People's Palace is a small museum dedicated to daily life of Glaswegians and so we had to try these out for size.

At near the end of the day the Chatters couldn't resist a wander round the Necropolis.

Dont think so Bearkat. Just having a rest in the Glasgow Travel Inn listening to the raucious celebrations outside. Dinner @ 8:30 pm but our feet do hurt summat awful.
