I don't think Joyce Elizabeth was born in South Australia ....only 3 births by that name to 1906.
...a Longbottom in 1886, a Watson in 1903 and a WIlson  :o  in 1906.

None of those mothers were called Stafford either.  :-\

So South Australia crossed off then - anything 1904, 05  :-\

I wish I could find something more on them after 1930 - the other brother came home and I have his info  :'(

The one born in 1886 had a mother KAINES....but she is too old anyway.

No Joyce Elizabeths as such in NSW between 1890 and 1907.

There are 40 Joyce E.s...... 2 born in 1899 with the surnames beginning with C, and 2 others with surnames beginning with C but they were 1906 and 1907.....probably too late.

No Elizabeth Joyce but 538 Elizabeth J!

No Staffords.

i'm going off to just check that she wasn't born England - just in case :-\  All the info I had on them until today was from the daughter of J W's younger brother. All her info has been pretty good so far though. She's now in her late 70s.

No baptisms of a Joyce Elizabeth who would fit in Eng & Wales. i've already checked the marriages and John Stafford's birth - nothing so it must have been Penang  :-\ :-\

8 Joyce Es,  earliest born 1906. Nothing in the names to suggest any link.

Looking for John Stafford's birth is a lost cause mostly....SA is the only state that I can access births past 1920.  :-\  :-\
