I'm new- looking for help- COMPLETE

hi all
Can anybody help with this. I'm trying to find info on Andrew Wallace. My great grandfather James Wallace Thomson was born illegitimately to Isabella Thomson on 15th Sept 1891 in Yokieshill, Longside, Aberdeen. i have found a court ruling to have Andrew Wallace of Monymusk nr Kemnay, Aberdeenshire named as James's father. I have searched to see if Andrew and Isabella did eventually marry but can't find anything, searches of the census for Andrew Wallace have also been unsuccessful.
Thank you
Lindy-lou

Welcome to RootsChat, Lindy-lou.
Have you got a note of Andrew's occupation? There's a few in Aberdeenshire that may be him, but any other clues would narrow him down.

I realised after i had posted i had forgotten to include Andrew Wallace occupation, he was a farm servant.
Thanks for your help

Hi LL,
Here's the options in 1891;
1875, born Aberdeen, combmaker
1857, born Aberdeen, flesher
1872, born Old Deer, coach painter
1854, born Turriff, stonecutter (unemployed)

hi hume24
thank you for the options, have you any ideas where i can go next with this to pinpoint correct Andrew Wallace? i had a look at James wallace Thomsons marriage certificate, fathers details were not included.
cheers

Have you tried
www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk
for a death for Andrew Wallace sometime from 1891 onwards( he must have been alive at the start of 1891 to father James) ?
Andrew, Donald (Wester Highlands), Muckersie (Perth), Symon(s) (Dundee)
