Family photos

Hi, I have had  two photographs emailed to me by a relative so I don't know what dpi they have been scanned at.  They have both turned out really badly, but are important photographs.   One is my mum, her sisters and their dad who was killed in the pit soon after the photo, and the other is my great grandparents.
If anyone can help make them presentable it would be very much appreciated. I will post them separately.

again, the pic needs to be scanned at 300dpi + for a good result. 

If a picture is scanned correctly, you will get more people willing to give their best shot.

Anne Marie, seeing as I couldn't get rid of the reds and purples, I have included a black and white one, which is probably a little clearer anyway.

Once again thank you, its great.  I'm sorry it was not scanned properly and I just posted it on the offchance someone could improve it a bit and you have done a lovely job.

Gosh, thanks Judy and Anne Marie. 

But I am sure if others gave it a chance they would see it is nowhere near as bad as it looks, just needed some tender loving care
