Berryman/Martin family
« on: Thursday 11 October 07 07:39 BST (UK) »
Hello there

I have recently returned from a visit to the UK, whilst there we visited
Towednack Cornwall.  Many of our relations were born, married and died there.  Now I know that the Berrymans are in the family tree way way back although my prime connection is with the Martin family.  Some of the Berrymans emigrated to New Zealand.  To cut a long story short I have taken some photos of some of the Berrymans in Towdenack church yard.  If you are related and would like a copy please e mail me
email address removed - please use the secure Rootschat personal message system to exchange personal email addresses - thankyou

Cheers

HI .... You should remove the email address on here though and use the personal message system.   We never put our email address on the board.

You might find that the mods may remove the address before you get back and personal messages have been restricted until about 3 real posts have been made to avoid spammers.

Hello there

My Grandmother was an Edith Martin and the Martin family goes back to Cornwall to 16oo's.  The Martin - Martins did move around.  Like my grandmothers family they all went to Wales.

If there is anyway that I can help, I will try.

Cheers

Hello,
Thank you for your reply.

My grand aunt Stella Jane Smith married a George (Burley) Martim in 1913.  She died 1920 in Whangarei.

Her children were Louis, Kitch, Cyril and Bruce.

I have not been able to find this Bruce anywhere.  I have looked on BDM index and Electoral rolls as well for the area up there.

George died in 1966.  I have worked out that Bruce was born abt 1919.

Any ideas would be great.
