Any help appreciated
« on: Thursday 11 October 07 12:14 BST (UK) »
Hello,

I hope some one can help me. I am trying to fill some big gaps in my family tree.
I am looking for details on Charles Doherty who was a tea dealer and lived in Wellington Park Belfast in 1911, he married Frances Bowker Daly
(I don't have the date or where they married) and they had three children, Mary J dob 1881, Joseph dob 1883 and Edmond dob 1899.(all approx dates)
I would love any information on the following......

*Details of Charles and Frances parents and siblings
*Charles & Frances DOB and where they were born, and DOD
*What happened to the children such as professions and did they go on to marry? And to whom? Did they have children?

I realise it is alot to ask but i have put it down in case there is a chance somone out there might be able to find the answers for me and any (or all) information on the list above would be greatly appreciated
Thank you

Hi OTTO,

Thank you very much for that information.
I am a little bit confused as the Mary you have found matches my Mary as i have her down as being born in 1880/81 but her surname was Doherty not Dogherty,

Also Charles was her father so he could not have been born in 1879, unless he named his son after him as i have him down as Joseph Doherty and my records may have left out Charles as being his first name.

Did you happen to see the address they lived at? Because if it matches Wellington Park, Belfast then we know we are looking at the right family.
Thank you again for all your time and effort.
Emily
