I'm looking for any additional information on the Blackstocks and Frasers of Kirkcolm, Wigtownshire.  Here is what I have:

Ann Fraser and Hugh Wagstaff are my Gr Grandparents.  I have good information on their descendants, but am lacking information on the descendants of Ann's siblings, and on the siblings (if any) of Ann Blackstock b. 1816.

I believe I have all of the Frasers & Blackstocks in the 1841 through 1861 censuses in Kirkcolm.

If you have researched these families and have any information to add, I'd be thrilled to hear from you and am happy to share what information I have.

I've done a little poking around and this is what I've found;
1871 census Cothouse Knocknassie, Kirkcolm 2 rooms with at least one window
James Blackstock M78 Grocer & Carrier born Ireland with wife Margaret aged 67 also born Ireland, daughter Margaret U44 domestic worker born kirkcolm and Grandson James Skimming U22 Ag lab
Baptisms; Margaret Blackstock, father James Skimming - James Skimming 2 Jul 1848 Kirkcolm.

Ann Blackstock= M2/6/1846 At Leswalt, on Tuesday last, by the Rev. Mr Bennet, Ann ,2nd daughter of Mr James Blackstock, Cambie Kirkcolm to Mr Peter Maitland. The age of the the bridegroom is exactly double that of the bride.

William Fraser married Margaret Watson 27 feb 1874 Kirkcolm

Do you know if Alexander Fraser's father was Hugh?
He is on the 1841 census at Ervy ,a farmer aged 85 years
