Hi everyone,

When I use "search rootschat" and put in "Swansea" it gives me page 1 and says at the top, "pages 1,2,3.....10", but when I try to move on to another page it doesn't go anywhere.

Can anyone explain or help please?

Thanks,

Bev.    ???

Hi Bev,

It work's OK for me at the moment - just click on one of the 2/3..10 numbers to see them all

RC is having slight problems at the moment - so try again and see what happens.

Cheers

Hi Bev,

this a is a known problem with the RootsChats search function.
("Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't" or "It works for some, but not for others")

I can't remember if a solution was found or not; I'll have a look, but maybe someone else will know.

Thanks for the replies.

Just tried again - still not working.

It's really frustrating - is there any way round it?

Thanks,

Bev. :(

It's not working for me at the moment either and I don't recall that we found a solution previously :-\

I would suggest limiting your search to certain boards (perhaps even one at a time as there are so many results) - a bit laborious perhaps but it might help.

Hi All,

Strange that - thought I might have done something wrong the first time - but it still works fine for me - and you can move from one page to another.

As per this photo.

Cheers

I'm also getting all the pages to come up as well and I can't recall ever having problems either with a global or limited search.

Is it a browser/settings thing or a glitch?

When I search Rootschat the first page displays OK, but when on click to go to page two, I get a message to say the page cannot be displayed.

Is it just me?

Well, I see I'm in good company.

It's only just become a problem.
