Hi Damien,
I have looked at the Trade Directories that I have with no luck, I looked at the ones on fiche at the Library but I didn’t find anything there either….but that’s not to say there isn’t, as I didn’t have much time left to do any more.
There was no mention of any Paulson’s in all the books I have on Sutton in Ashfield.
I know you are interested in any Paulson in Sutton in Ashfield from your other post, so I thought I would mention these just in case, it might spark a few more ideas…..

I know you have already been given burials for Sutton but I did go and have a look for the burial of Samuel just to make sure his age was 22 (it was), as I know some of the fiche are difficult to read, one thing I did discover about that burial entry is, it was written in between other burials dated 1837 & 1838 on what I understand to be a copy i.e. not entered in the original register.
At the beginning of the fiche 109 it says;
Burials 1835 – 1845
PR. 9834 Draft/Copy (Original register lost)
It is known there was no proper register of burials between the years 1836 and 1847, just a few loose leaves of burials copied into a reference book and on the whole were badly kept, so maybe there were some burials never even entered at all.

You may have already seen this Marriage Bond at -
