Charlotte Evans (b. 1847)

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on Charlottes parents for me?
She was actually born in Tipton, West Mids, but was married in Kerry, Newtown, Wales to Thomas Briscoe in 1867.
Her Father was John Evans a Farmer b. c1810. I don't have his place of Birth and i don't have any info at all about his wife/ Charlottes Mother.
John had a Sister Ann (b. 1804) who married a Jones, and a Brother Richard (b. 1806).
That's all i know i'm afraid, so sorry it's not a lot to go on.

richard evans age 54. b. beaugildey,radnorshire. occ. farmer.head.
ann jones age 56. b. ditto. sister. occ. housekeeper.
charles evans age 33. b. kerry,motgomeryshire. occ. labourer. son.
charlotte evans age 13. b. tipton,staffs. occ. house servant. neice.
william evans age 2. b. kerry,montgomeryshire. nephew.
living at calaneau,cefn Y mynach and kerry,montgomeryshire.

not a lot of help with regard to the parents i'm afraid.

Tipton was in the Dudley Registration District.

This looks like her birth certificate:


Dudley, Sept Q, 1847, vol 18, page 300.

This will give you her mother's name.
