Baptism lookup please - Shotley/Bywell St Andrew

Hi there,

This is my first time posting so hope I'm doing it right!

I'm looking for baptism records for Ralph Lumley. The only details I have for him are his marriage to Mary Ridley in March 1785.  One record is dated 27th March at Shotley & the other dated 28th March at Bywell St Andrew.

I have found a marriage between a Joseph Lumley & Ann Reed dated 27th November 1759 at Shotley which could tie in datewise to be Ralph's parents.

Can anyone help?

Where does your information about the marriage of Ralph LUMLEY and Mary RIDLEY come from?  Do you have the full entry from the Parish Register?

I got the marriage info from the LDS website so I don't have the full details.  I don't live near the North East so I've been limited to what I can get from the internet.

Baptisms for both of these parishes are included on the IGI and as you have probably found yourself - there is no entry for Ralph LUMLEY, so you really need that Marriage Register entry.

You can also order the films to view at an LDS research centre.
