Could anyone date this please!

I have just had this photo of a relative  emailed to me I would love a date for it...Sara was born in 1868...I believe this is a tin-type pic but am not sure...any thoughts welcome.

Yes, it's a tintype, definitely.

Date looks around 1880s, so she might be 18-20 in this pic

At first I thought it was a hankie but now that you say leaf it could be that although I think its a bit big isn't it? and the rest of the plant looks a bit puny to me .. so I think I'm going to stick with my fist thought.. a hankie.

I must admit I originally thought the object in question was an handkerchief, but since Carol raised the issue I have changed my mind and now think she is correct, and it is in fact a leaf
Consequently I have changed the restoration above as appropriate.  I have also redone the area between the figure and the ornament (in green), and resized the whole thing for better viewing
