Pinfold Family of Farthinghoe
« on: Thursday 25 October 07 08:20 BST (UK) »
My gt gt grandmother was Hannah Pinfold, probably born Farthinghoe around 1818 (although in some censuses she gives her birthplace as Bloxham, Oxon where her family must have moved when she was very young).

Trying to find her father William Pinfold and her mother Susannah Johnstone. I know Pinfold was and still is a common name in those parts - anyone have any info on these people?

Richard PINFOLD and Ann ENNOCK, both of Newbottle, were married by licence at Hinton in the Hedges. Have you been able to find the licence - there may be further information on the licence?

No just the marriage in a book of marriages in the area and year with their names and date nothing else.

It may be worth trying to track down the Licence from Northants Archiives.  :)
