Hi Avoca,

The 1881 census is searchable by address at www.ancestry.co.uk

I can't see a Murton Cottage - do you have any names for your Davies family? There is a family headed by John Davies, wife Sarah Ann at Murton. Address is Grocer Shop (but John is a shoemaker  :P)
