1851/1961 THADDEUS MORAN please
« on: Saturday 27 October 07 21:20 BST (UK) »
Hi

I know this is a long shot, but please can anyone trace a THADDEUS MORAN born Co Mayo, Ireland.
I don't have any more info on him - he was the father of Michael Moran born
c 1829 who married Hannah Rochford/Rightford in Walsall 1852.  Michael & Hannah remained in Walsall
I am hoping that his unusual name might just throw something up  :D
thank you
Joyce

Hi Sandra

Thanks for looking, but this man is not old enough to be Michael's father.  He could be his brother, but I have no way of knowing that at the moment.
Thanks anyway

Hi Joyce,

I see that you have a question re Thaddeus Moran.  I have a Thaddeus Moran 3x gt grandfather who was born in Louisburgh Co Mayo.  I have no other info on him apart from the fact that he was born c 1800.  My 2x great grandfather was Thomas Moran b 1829 Louisburgh - I wonder if your Michael and he were brothers?
