ww1 have service num, but based?

i have the service number of David Muir hoey.
 regiment royal field artillery,
 service number 99635
he was a driver and died 26.05.1918
cemetery solferino farm Belgium.
 Trying to find where he was based and where he died.
can any one point me in the right directsion.

He is buried in the Solferino Farm War Cemetery

The CWGC entry has the additional information that he was in "D" Battery, 153 Brigade.
The Brigade war diary is held at the National Archives under the reference WO 95/2496. It is unlikely to record him by name, but will record locations and events, often in some detail.
