The clean ups and the beautiful colours are great
It was such a poor quality photo to start with - one of those folded up in a purse for many years - so I am amazed by what you have done.
And Rowley thank you for your input - I could not really make my mind up when it was - if it was before 1920 - putting her in her 20s then she looked too old.  I would guess she was 30 ish or just over - so 1920 onwards sounds right.

And the ring - I have never noticed it before - but it is on her right hand- is it not ?

You are correct, the ring is on the right hand not the left.

Can you tell me if she is wearing a housecoat or a dressing gown ?  Or is it an outdoor outfit ?  If it is a dressing gown - isn't it odd to be photographed in one ?
She also has her hair down.

Hi Mog,

Something that I did not pick up on when I first viewed this photograph was the chrysanthemum print on the outfit. keeping with the date line that I first suggested reminded me of the Sino-Japanism emergence in ladies fashion during the period from 1890 to 1927.
