Thanks for reply re above.  Require info of parents of George McCoy (d.o.b.1819) who married Annie York(e) (d.o.b.1819) in 1838, possibly at Gortin, Tyrone.

George & Annie had daughter Jane (d.o.b.1839) and son Thomas (d.o.b.1848) They were then living at Dunhunrover.  Is this a house or village?
Thomas married Isabella Hopper on 15.02.1872 at the Scots Church, Gortin.  They emigrated to England about 1873.  They were my great grandparents so have more details of them already.

Isabella Hopper's father was Samuel, mother's name unknown.  Would like any details this couple.

Regards

Pam

See www.thecore.com/seanruad to search for townlands, parishes, etc. in Ireland.
To find family records which predate civil registration you need to know the family's religion and where they lived. Then you need to find nearest churches and find whether or not the records you need still exist. LDS catalogue (www.familysearch.org) will show if the church records have been microfilmed. If so, you can order them from your local LDS library for a small fee to view there.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

The townland in Bodoney Lower (also spelled Badoney Lower) appears to be Dunbunrawer, 942 acres in size.
