Can anyone see William and Elizabeth Vezey (Veysey) both aged, I guess, about 60 probably living in West Bromwich area in the 1841 census?

Jim

Thanks for looking. The only children I found were, Maria 1810 who married James Freeth 1831, William 1812, Suzanna 1814 who married a Sam Winney 1831 and  Ann 1806. All born West Brom. Maria and James lived in Ling Road West Brom in '41.

Looks like they were deceased by 1841 although I can't find a death entry.

Bob

I think I found William and Elizabeth living at Ling Road, Ling Field West Brom in 1841, they are transcribed as Veasey, he is 60 and a Boiler Maker, she is 50.  Folio number is  HO107/0978/4/~F5.    Its the same address as their daughter Maria which is why I think its them although the name is spelt quite differently.

William I believe died in 1844, Elizabeth died 1854. This couple are my brick wall I have yet to discover where they married or where they are from. I am descended from their daughter Susanna who married Samuel Winney.

Regards Vicky.

Vicky

Maria Vezey (Veasey) was my GGG Grandmother, and, like you, I cannot find any information on William and Elizabeth. Did you manage to find Elizabeth in the 1851 census as this could give us a clue as to where she was born.

Thanks for info.
