Okay, a long shot. But my great gran was Gentila Roberts born 1890 in Hastings, Sussex. Her mother was Mary Ann and her father Samson, and she had 10 brothers and sisters. The family had links to Kent, as Samson was born there as was his father and grandfather also named Samson. Between 1901-1920 the family moved to Aberkenfig, S Wales. Jim was one of Genty's brothers, a well known horse trader who had a son Jimmy and daughter Annie (who lived in a gypsy wagon near Brynmenyn train station), then married Agnes and adopted a son named Bill in the 1930s. Annie married Herbert Mitchell and had Jimmy, Muriel, Jaqueline and Henry. Henry was imprisoned in Newport in the 1950s. Genty married Percy Price, she was a well known fortune teller on Nolton St, Bridgend. Genty also had a sister named Harty who became Harty Henson, and one called Celia who married Tim O'Shea in or around Bridgend or Newport. Many of the family are buried at Christchurch cemetery, Newport or Aberkenfig. I do have them on census' and squillions of certs, but wondered if anyone else is researching them.

PS: Samson Roberts died in a horse race in Aberkenfig, 1918. He was a horse dealer and scrap dealer.
