Another long shot again.
1874 Catholic Chapel, Ravensdowne
Thomas Gibbons, 35, [born c1839]; father John Gibbons
married
Elizabeth Clyne, 21, [born c1853]; father Michael Clyne
Their children were Margarita [possibly Margaret], 1876;
Thomas 1878;
James 1881;
William 1882 [married Helen York, according to the R.C. register]
All in R.C. baptism register.
Does anyone have any links with this family?

Thomas’ age seems to vary quite a bit but it looks like he would have been nearer to 25 than 35 in 1874. The third child is called John (not James). There is no birth registration for a James Gibbons in Berwick within two years either side of 1881 but there is one for John. William Gibbons did not marry Ellen Yorke until 1909, so it fits that he would still be with his father in 1901.

Sorry for the late reply.
Thank you all very much for these pieces of  information. I did have the 1881 census but none of the others nor the marriage/death information. Also Weatherley Square appears somewhere in my research so must look for it
Now I will print off your replies and see where this information will lead me.
