Have been trying to find Edward Skilton b 1822 in the census 1829 on his marriage certificate. Thought he was born in Hersham - no records. As a long shot perhaps Mersham. Can you help please?

Hi Poppyann

Why do you not think he is quite possibly the one found on your other post?

It looks quite a good match to me :-\

Hi Casalguidi, just looking at options.  Archivist at Croydon suggested that perhaps it might be a good idea to look at neighboring counties. I am sending off for copy of death certificate. It is just the fact that the census says he was born in 1822 and the copy of his marriage certificate says 1829 - confusing. I have been looking for Edward for about 5 years. Seem to be getting some good info from this site.
