Hi

Does anyone have access to the Nantwich Workhouse Records? I have found 2 of my ancestors on the 1881 census living in the workhouse but can't find them on the 1891 & 1901 census... i would like to find out what happened to them....

Records are held at Chester RO.....incidently I live next door to the workhouse!!.....

What were their names??

On the 1881 census, they are listed as:

Agnes Edwards Age 10, Scholar and born Nantwich

Henry Edwards Age 12, Scholar and born Manchester Lancashire
