1901, 1911 Irish Census look-ups?
« on: Monday 19 November 07 10:17 GMT (UK) »
Are these census details available on-line anywhere? Does anyone have access? I am looking for Patrick Phelan B. 1864 wife Mary Anne B. 1875 who were living at Sragh near Urlingford in the parish of Tubridbrittain. Probably only with eldest son Kieran in the first but lots more by 1911. Thanks. Jim

Here's a photo of Patrick taken at a fair in about 1890.

1901 and 1911 census are supposed to come online eventually and many of us here are waiting for it to happen- I'm sure they'll be a posting on Rootschat when that happens.
In the meantime, check with your local LDS library as you can order 1901 census (and possibly 1911 depending on where you live) for a small fee to view there.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
