Hi whitbygeoff I have just come across this web page and see that you were looking for info on a Sarah Laverack from the Howden area East Yorkshire. Did you manage to find the info you require? It's just I bought a funeral card from eBay sometime ago for the funeral of a Sarah Laverack at North Cave church in 1887?

Regards Kev

Hi, I am the Grandaughter of George William Laverack, born in North Cave.  He married Frances Beard and adopted George Hector Brumby.  I am looking for his sister Gladys who used to live at 44 Sharp Street Hull in the 1950's.  From what I can remember their was another lady there as well.  I also used to visit one of Grandads brothers in Market Weighton, they lived in a Council House.  Any Laverack info would be good.

Many thanks for your reply.  I think this is another 'Laverack' family tree from North Cave.  My Grandfathers parents were Henry and Amathey Laverack nee Weldrake.  Always worth a try

Hi my grandmother was called Sarah Laverack but that was her married name, her husband was Frank.  She came from Bradford but the Laveracks are originally from York.  Wonder if there is a connection.

I don't think we are researching the same'Laverack' family.  I cannot find a Frank Laverack on my family tree, but who knows what will turn up.
