Hi all
could SKS please do a look up in the 1891 census for Bucklebury in Berk's for John Gall. He was born in 1866 in Brompton London and lived at 29 Montpelier Row. He was there in the 1871 census, although the name was mis-spelt to Gaul. In 1881 he was living at Chapel Row, Upper Common, Buckeleby, lodging with his uncle, George Britton , he was learning to be a thatcher and thats where I lose him,I can't find him in the 1901 census. He had four brothers that I've found, one of whom doesn't show up in 1901 either but I know he was fighting in the Boer war (another brother was also in the army). It could be John was also away in the army somewhere or had emigrated or died. I 'm just hoping if he can be found in 1891 I might get some more clues about him.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Mick
