Could anybody help, I am trying to find the record of the marriage of Mary Eaton of Salford
to ? Partridge. There is an entry in the 1890 census showing Mary Partridge daughter of
John and Eliza Eaton she had a child named Thomas or William. but I cannot find a record
of Mary's husband

What year was Mary born?  Is she single on the 1881 census (www.familysearch.org) 

Are there any other Partridge children with her on the 1891 census.  If yes - when were they born as it can help with a possible marriage date

she had a child named Thomas or William

When was he born and where.  Do you have the family on the 1901 census

Have you checked freebmd for a marriage or Lancashire BMD
