Swallow Marriage Lookup Request

Hello,

I am hoping to discover the date of marriage for my great great great grandparents:  Thomas SANDERSON and Mary BETTS  mary was born in Swallow, christened there 27 Mar 1808.  The eventually settled in Thornton Curtis.  Since Thomas was from Hull, Yorks,  I'm hoping they were married at her "home" church..

Any help would be appreciated, and THANK YOU in advance for your time!

Hi,

Swallow comes under the Westwold deanery. I couldn't find anything for 1813-1837.

However, Thornton Curtis lies in the Yarborough deanery and for 1813-1837:
Thomas SANDERSON & May [sic] BETTS, 1827 at Saxby All Saints.

Hi,

I've had a look at Saxby All Saints marriage register:

Thomas SANDERSON of the parish of Burton-upon-Stather and Mary BETTS of this parish were married by banns on 27th February 1827 by Charles BARTON, rector.

Thomas SANDERSON signed his name, but Mary BETTS couldn't sign hers.

Witnessed by Edward DRINKALL and Mary (TRAHISS???) her mark.
